गायत्री ज्ञान मन्दिर, इंदिरा नगर, लखनऊ के विचार क्रान्ति अभियान ज्ञान यज्ञ के अन्तर्गत बलरामपुर गार्डेन लखनऊ में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय पुस्तक मेला (22 सितम्बर से 2 अक्टूबर 2023 तक) गायत्री परिवार के संस्थापक युगऋषि वेदमूर्ति तपोनिष्ठ पं० श्रीराम शर्मा आचार्य द्वारा रचित जीवन उपयोगी साहित्य मेले में प्रदर्शित किया गया. यह गायत्री ज्ञान मन्दिर, इंदिरा नगर, लखनऊ का 34वां पुस्तक मेला था.

Gayatri Gyan Mandir, Lucknow is devoted and dedicated to spiritual and creative activities. It is operated by Gayatri Parivar Rachnatmak Trust. The 'Trust' has been established by 'Sri Vedmata Gayatri Trust, Gayatri Tirth, Shantikunj, Haridwar. The office of Gayatri Gyan Mandir is located in Indira Nagar, a locality in trans-Gomti area of Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Gayatri Gyan Mandir, Lucknow has various facilities catering various needs- spiritual, creative, Vedic ritual viz. 'hindu sanskaras' from birth to death. It has the state of art facility for Gayatri Sadhakas e.g. library 'वाचनालय', meditation room साधना कक्ष, yagyashala 'यज्ञशाला' etc. for collective Gayatri Sadhana. Shriram Sharma Acharya, a pioneer of spiritual renaissance was born on 20th September 1911, in Anwalkheda, Agra District. He scrupulously carried out the biddings of his Guru, a great Himalayan Yogi, when he was fifteen years of age. A sage, a visionary and a reformer, the Acharya initiated a movement for transformation of era, lived a disciplined life of devout austerity, visited the Himalayas several times and attained spiritual eminence. The Gayatri Pariwar fraternity with its more than 3000 social reform centers (Shakti-peeths) are his greatest contributions to the modern world. He translated the entire Vedic Vangmaya and accomplished a feat of writing more than 3000 books on all aspects of life. The Acharya, Great devotee of Gayatri lived an ideal life for 80 years and voluntarily shed his physical sheath on Gayatri Jayanti, 2nd June 1990.

Mata Bhagwati Devi (popularly called 'Mataji' among disciples) born in September, 1926. She was oriented towards religious activities since childhood. She was more interested in worshipping God. After her marriage to Acharyaji, she looked after visitors and guests. She willingly donated all her personal jewelry received at her wedding for establishment of Gayatri Tapobhumi at Mathura. She initiated and leaded Mahila Jagran Abhiyan (movement for emancipation of women) in 1975. Soon, about 4000 branches of Mahila Jagran Abhiyan were established with more than one million active participants. Mataji considered everyone as part of her family. It was of prime importance to her, to arrange for their comfortable stay and spiritual guidance. Such was the love and affection that people come to Shantikunj for recharging themselves and to experience the peace and tranquillity in their personal lives.

When Gurudev took Mahasamadhi on June 02, 1990, Gayatri Jayanti day, Mataji took over all the responsibilities of the mission and carried them over with great courage. In October 1990, under Mataji's guidance, Grand Shraddhanjali Samaroh, a program to pay homage to Gurudev, was organized. Over 15,00,000 devotees from all over the world participated in it, and resolved to carry-on the works of Gurudev, for dissemination of philosophy of Gayatri and Yagna. In 1992, on Gayatri Jayanti Day, Mataji disclosed about Gurudev's message from subtle and astral realms for the spread of Dev- Sanskriti (divine Indian culture or religious culture) all over the world for which series of Grand Ashwamedha Yagnas were to be performed. The series of Ashwamedha Yagnas started from Jaipur in November 1992. Till now, twenty-seven such grand Ashwamedha Yagnas have been celebrated in INDIA and abroad, besides the grand Anwalkheda (birthplace of Acharyaji near Agra, city of Taj) Pratham Poornahuti Samaroh in 1995. Mataji visited UK, Canada and USA in three Ashwamedh yagnas in Leicester-UK, Toronto -Canada and Los Angeles - USA. Mataji initiated millions of people into Gayatri Mantra and with this, a new wave of character-building and social reform started. Mataji too, withdrew to the astral realm, to join her aradhya satta there, on September 19, 1994, Bhadrapad Mahapoornima day.

A close and direct disciple of Pandit Shriram Sharma Achaya, Dr. Pranav Pandya is renouned world over as a pioneer of scientific spirituality. As the Head of the Organization, he disseminated the message of Indian culture, in its true spirit, across the globe and established branches of Gayatri Pariwar in over 80 countires. Under his dynamic leadership the Dev Sanskriti University at Haridwar is establishing new milestones and reforming the face of modern education. A Gold Medalist in Medicine MD Dr. Pandya qualified for US medical services in 1976. But upon the insistence of His Guru Pandit Shriram Sharma gave up the lucrative offer and stayed in India. Under his guidance path breaking research on Ayurveda, Psychology, Yagyapathy and therapeutic benefits of meditation, pranayam was carried out. He did intense research, study in Ayurveda, Indian Scriputres, co-authored many books on scientific spirituality during the years 1978 to 1990 in close proximity of Acharyaji. Even more significant phase of his life began in 1990 when Gurudev Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharyji took Mahasamadhi. This time the world was waiting for his treatise on scientific spirituality in the light of hoary Indian Culture. As the head of Global Gayatri Pariwar he established branches in 80 countries. In continuance of his efforts he has presented scientific aspect of Indian culture to the Parliament of Worlds Religion. He has addressed joint session of House of Lords and House of Commons in UK in February 1992. As a global messenger of Pandit Shriram Sharmaji’s vision of Bright Future Dr. Pandya inspired Youths and Talents all over India and abroad to take up the three fold path of Sadhana, Upasana and Aradhana. Self-discipline, Attainment of Divinity and Self-less service. Under his leadership the Gayatri Pariwar fraternity has blossomed into a world wide organization with nearly 90 million followers. She has been actively involved in Nari-jagran movement with Param Vandniya Mataji since 1980 to 1994, delivering lectures to millions of people all over the country and abroad. Upon completing his Master's degree from the University of Wolverhampton, UK, he as well accomplished MRCP from London in Psychiatry.

As a Consultant in West London Hospital Trust, London, and as Associate Specialist for Alzheimer Disease Treatment Service he was helping patients to recover from the rare and difficult disease. After gaining rich experience and expertise, answering to the inner call to serve the nation, he came back and joined Dev Sanskriti University, which is dedicated for the cultural renaissance of the globe as Director for School of Yog and Health, and presently is serving the socially dedicated University as Pro Vice Chancellor.

His spiritual and managerial capabilities are helping the University grow leaps and bounds and becoming a model institution in its very domain
